Stump Grinding

After the removal of a tree, there remains a stump. Most customers choose to have the stump removed.

Our Working Process

Removing a stump is not pulling a stump out of the ground. Rather the use of a stump grinder is used. The stump grinder actually grinds the stump into wood chips. This process leaves a mound of wood chips. We leave the option to leave the wood chips or remove the wood chips, and cover the area with top soil.

Grinding the stump requires heavy-duty equipment. We make sure ours is up to date and operating with no difficulties.

When grinding the stump, you have to be careful not to damage the lawn as well. Going too deep on the stump can ruin grass and the likeliness of anything growing back.

What We Ask Of Our Clients

Stump grinding can be very dangerous if not executed correctly. We ask our clients to keep these key things in mind to help us get in and get out effectively.

  • Move your cars for equipment to get through
  • Keep pets and your children inside
  • Let us know you like to keep the groundwood for compost or other reasons?
